4.3.6 Panorama Search
In addition to the various search methods listed above, the DVR also provides
users a different way to search for video of one specific channel via preview
images, called panorama search. Please refer to the following steps to do
panorama search.
• First, start to playback video of one specific channel in full-screen.
• Press FREEZE and the video will be paused.
• Press MODE once, panorama search will be started and the preview
images will be in 1 second interval, with 20 preview images displayed.
• Press LEFT/RIGHT, the previous/next 20 preview images in 1 second
interval will be displayed.
• Press MODE the second time, panorama search preview will be refreshed
in 1 minute interval.
• Press MODE the third time, panorama search preview will be refreshed in
1 hour interval.
• Press MODE the fourth time, panorama search preview will be refreshed
in 1 day interval.
• Move the mouse cursor to the frame preferred and click on it to start
playback the video from the selected frame.
• Press PLAY to return to Live mode.
4.4 Video Export
The following sections will show how to export video through the OSD setup
menu and through the hot keys on the front panel, respectively. Note that the
system log will keep records of all video exportations, including duration, start
time, and end time.
4.4.1 Export from OSD Setup Menu
The Video Export menu enables only the accounts with proper authority to
export recorded video with digital signature to a USB ThumbDrive
®
or a
DVD+RW drive. Login with an authorized account to export video.
The exported video will be named by the exporting date and time, and
classified by event type. Each recorded video will be exported into four files if
digital signature is required, including *.gpg, *.avi (or *.drv), *.sig and
readme.txt.
